GM again files with the USPTO for a trademark on the "Zora" name. Speculation has it that GM may be planning to use "Zora" as the nameplate for the upcoming 2020 mid-engine Corvette
Episode 38: GM again has filed a trademark request with the USPTO for a trademark on "Zora" (after Zora Arkus-Duntov, who enthusiasts consider the father of the Corvette. Speculation has GM using the trademark on the2020 Mid-engine Corvette. To proceed with the trademark request, the U.S. USPTO requires that the documentation includes a Statement of Use document, which GM did not include with their 2014 filing. It is anticipated that GM is coming closer to issuing the Statement of Use document which will describe the intended use of the "Zora" trademark.
